vicki has devoted her career to building welcoming and inclusive schools and communities that will embrace diversity as an asset to everyone’s learning. her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change requires all members of the school community—educators, students, families, and researchers—prioritize equity, belonging, and learning. through her work she is energized by collaboration and strives to provide evidence that will deepen thinking and innovation as well as translate research into effective practice.

dr. nishioka has provided evaluation and technical assistance services to education and community-based organizations at state and local levels. she is a seasoned presenter, has authored peer-reviewed articles, and has developed technical assistance tools including practice briefs, literature summaries, blogs, infographics, and videos.

vicki has also served as an expert consultant for the u.s. department of education to eliminate discriminatory practices based on race, ethnicity, and disability. prior to coming to 2022年世界杯预选赛分组 , she taught graduate and undergraduate courses at the university of oregon and directed a network of education, family support, and residential programs that enabled children and youth with significant needs to live in their local communities.
