taylor burtch is a mixed-methods researcher whose background in critical theory and content expertise in higher education informs her approach to educational equity. her work centers on the use of quantitative and qualitative data to complicate deficit-oriented narratives and improve policy and practice.

before joining 2022年世界杯预选赛分组 , taylor was a postdoctoral researcher at florida state university, where she led the qualitative arm of a multiyear institute of education sciences study of developmental education reform in texas. she has also worked as an adjunct instructor in the higher education department at the university of florida and an education-focused legislative fellow for the u.s. house of representatives. during her doctoral program, taylor worked in collaboration with community and institutional partners, including elevation scholars and pace center for girls, to conduct applied and equity-based research and evaluation.
