jessica’s work is motivated by wanting to make learning opportunities as useful and relevant as possible for learners. she enjoys the challenge of creating an engaging learning experience on any topic and for any audience and is passionate about making learning both fun and accessible for a given audience. through her work she hopes to support educators, national service members, and community leaders in developing the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to thrive and succeed.

for jessica, the road leading to her work in training and development started with a year of americorps service where one of her tasks was designing volunteer management trainings for local area nonprofits. she enjoyed the process of learning about the needs of community partners and designing training opportunities and discussion sessions to support their work. after americorps, she continued to support the work of community-based organizations, including organizing community listening sessions and training grant reviewers at united way of the columbia-willamette before pursuing a graduate degree in educational leadership.
