managing researcher, equitable learning environments

if ashlie could design a new system of educational opportunity, it would look like this: learners would be deeply engaged through sustained, hands-on, and self-driven activities that encourage collaboration. learning would be relevant, socially meaningful, authentic, and affirming to the identities, cultures, and lived experiences of learners. learning would directly address the historical, social, and economic injustices caused by systems of oppression and provide opportunities for deep relationship building and healing.

prior to joining 2022年世界杯预选赛分组 , ashlie was a national science foundation environmental policy fellow, working on interdisciplinary teams of researchers to look at the causes of and solutions to complex problems across multiple scales. this experience guides the way ashlie approaches problems in education: she always thinks about the learning environments, systems of policy and practice, and networks of interactions that facilitate learning for students who are furthest from educational opportunity.
