we are proud to serve as the regional technical assistance provider for the idaho state department of education and the montana office of public instruction. in this role, we help our partners solve problems that impede student success, implement evidence-based solutions for improving educational outcomes, and build their capacity to meet their state’s unique educational needs. below is a snapshot of the school systems in each state.

among idaho’s 300,000-plus k–12 students, 18 percent are hispanic and 6 percent are classified as english learner students. most of the state is rural, but its urban populations continue to grow.
