chrissy daly
chrissy daly joins us as an instructional designer and developer based in new jersey. a former teacher, chrissy’s work is informed by a deep appreciation for the diversity of learners and the importance of equity, inclusion, and access. she will apply her instructional design and elearning authoring skills to support the development of virtual learning and training and curriculum.
jennifer johnson
jennifer johnson is our new senior consultant for multilingual learners. working from seattle, jennifer will focus on dual language programs, students who are multilingual, and k–12 school improvement. previously, jennifer served as a dual language teacher for 15 years in shelton school district and as director of programs for multilingual learners in bellevue school district, both located in washington.
rachel maller
rachel maller joins us as a researcher in applied research and equitable evaluation. trained in a mixed methods approach, rachel has experience working on research partnerships with school districts to achieve greater educational equity. she is passionate about collaborating with partners and using data to inform educational decision-making. she is excited to conduct research that ultimately helps students feel safe, included, and supported at school.
mikkaka overstreet
mikkaka overstreet joins us from greenville, north carolina as a senior consultant for literacy. with more than 20 years of experience in education, mikkaka is excited to support projects focused on literacy, equity, and k–12 school improvement. mikkaka is also a published author and received her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from the university of louisville in kentucky.
lymaris santana
lymaris santana has also joined our team as a senior consultant for literacy. based in orlando, florida, lymaris brings more than 18 years of experience in education at all levels—from elementary to higher education—with a focus on literacy. she will support projects focused on equity, k–12 school improvement, and students who are multilingual.
marbella uriostegui
marbella uriostegui brings valuable professional experience developing, implementing, and evaluating programs aimed at improving youth outcomes in education and community nonprofit settings. marbella’s research focuses on the positive development of marginalized adolescents, including immigrant and multilingual students, and the action that young people take to support social change. she joins our team from los angeles, california.
