a changing landscape: secondary career and technical education (cte) in oregon
2022年世界杯预选赛分组 researchers recently completed a rel northwest study that provides a landscape scan of secondary cte programming in oregon from 2007/08 to 2017/18. this study is the first to examine cte in oregon during the state's implementation of the federal carl d. perkins career and technical education act of 2006 (perkins iv), and the findings may help inform programming decisions for the perkins v period.
findings include:
- high school cte offerings, as well as student participation in cte, increased from 2007/08 to 2017/18.
- urban high schools offered a greater number and wider variety of programs than rural high schools.
- there were participation disparities based on gender, special education status, and english learner status.
